We are both local lads and met at Caistor Grammar School, we're still best mates today. Michael is a doctor based in Newcastle. James is a pupil barrister based in London.

A message from
PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide. Every year over 1600 young people take their own lives in the UK. We operate HOPELINEUK, a confidential helpline for young people with thoughts of suicide or those concerned about a young person who may have thoughts of suicide.
Michael Trueman and James Smith are holding a fundraising event on 23/03/2024 at Bathʼs Hall Auditorium. We wholeheartedly support their fundraising and wish them the best of luck.

Other ways to help
We are looking for donations to our raffle.
Tickets will be sold throughout the evening. The sort of items we are looking for include: luxury items (like chocolates, alcohol, hampers) and gi cards / vouchers for experiences, preferably based locally (like meals, days out, etc).
We are also looking for hotel rooms close to Scunthorpe for the night of Saturday, 23 March 2024. These will be used to accommodate the organisers, sponsors, and representatives from PAPYRUS.
